Deeko Bahrain W.L.L.
 



 Deeko Bahrain was established in 1986 as a joint venture between Mr. Abdul Hussain Dawani and Deeko UK to convert Aluminium Foil and Paper Napkins. A year later the company expanded to produce Cling Film and Baking Parchment Paper. 1992 however saw the ownership structure change and the shares of Deeko UK were bought by Mr. Abdul Hussain Dawani whereby the company became a 100% Bahraini owned entity. Other products followed to include – Aluminium Foil Container range, Greaseproof Paper and Tissue Coasters.

The company has now since become one of the leading producers of Aluminium Foil Containers in the Gulf.

Today Deeko Bahrain is one of the leading manufacturers, converters and suppliers of consumer disposables and food packaging products to caterers, hotels, supermarkets and other companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the GCC, the Middle East under the brand name DANA. The company’s products are also sold in Europe, Africa, South East Asia and the Far East.

The company has been continuously modernising and expanding its production facility. Although it has been ISO 9001 certified since 1999 and has recently been re-certified ISO 9001:2008, the company has also attained the prestigious global standard for packaging and packing materials – BRC British Retail Consortium Certification on the 11th of March 2010, which means both our companies Deeko Bahrain W.L.L. and Dawanco Industries W.L.L. have conformed with technical management and factory standards for it’s packaging material that it produces i.e. we have come up to safety, quality, hygienic and necessary operational criteria required within a packaging organization to fulfill obligations with regards to legal standards and protection of the consumer – i.e. our products have conformed to safety, quality, risk and hazard management for safe use with food.
